We trust that you and your families are doing well in these strange and trying times our country is experiencing. We know that many of our customers have been anxious to know what our travel plans are for the rest of 2020, and we apologize for the lack of communication on our part.
As you can imagine, the travel and motorcoach industries have been hit very hard by the mandates imposed by governors across the country. There are questions about the safety of passengers on tour buses, and the number of passengers that should be permitted aboard to follow social-distancing guidelines. Shows have been canceled or postponed, then postponed again. There is much debate about the wearing of masks, and there are different guidelines across state lines. Attractions have closed, re-opened, and closed again.
To be honest, we have been riding the waves as a company just as you have been personally. Many of our customers desperately want to travel, while many others are feeling hesitant and unsure. We understand and appreciate these perspectives.
There are numerous moving parts and logistical considerations for each trip we set up, and with our current situation, these details are often changing on a daily basis. Therefore, it is with a heavy heart that we have decided to cancel all of our remaining trips for 2020. We have debated this decision for months as we have watched the news unfold, hoping to see this pandemic subside. We truly enjoy traveling with each of you and, God willing, we hope to start again in 2021 as the future of travel (hopefully) becomes more clear.
Thank you for your loyalty, friendship and support of Keeling Tour & Travel over the years. We look forward to traveling with you again in the future, and we pray for God’s blessings and hand of protection over you.
Randy & Doug
Established in 1997, Randy Keeling founded Christian Fellowship Tours with a goal of providing quality motor coach tours that would maintain a Christian, family friendly atmosphere. Over the years, as the tour industry has evolved, and with the advancements in technology, it became evident that our business would need to bring on additional team members who could add a fresh perspective and bring us up to date technologically. That goal was accomplished in the summer of 2018, when Randy's son and daughter-in-law, Doug and Nancy Keeling, were invited to come on board as co-owners.
Although the name of the business has changed to Keeling Tour & Travel, the goals of our company remain the same. We attempt each and every day to to create the ultimate motor coach travel experience for our customers while continuing to maintain a Christian, family friendly atmosphere.
We charter all of our buses exclusively with Campbell Bus Lines, based in Slippery Rock, PA. Campbell Bus Lines provides and maintains a fleet of deluxe motor coaches piloted by quality drivers.
